A New Partnership Lets South Africans Withdraw Crypto As Cash At ATMs.

CryptoExpress app users in South Africa can now withdraw cash at ATMs thanks to a partnership between digital currency firm Triple-A and global payments platform Paycorp.

This partnership enables users of the CryptoExpress app, powered by Paycorp, in South Africa to convert their crypto assets and withdraw South African Rand at over 3,000 ATMs.

Providing digital currency holders with a convenient method to convert and withdraw in South African Rands, this partnership signifies a transformative step in integrating digital assets into everyday transactions and advancing financial inclusion.

Backed by over two decades of payment solutions expertise, Paycorp manages an extensive ATM network and transaction processing solutions, operating South Africa’s largest independent ATM network, including strategically placed “Cash Express” ATMs in residential, commercial, and retail areas nationwide.

The CryptoExpress app taps into Paycorp’s existing network of Cash Express ATMs, supporting standard cash withdrawals, digital wallet transactions, and voucher cash-outs. This highlights the evolving financial landscape, bridging traditional banking and emerging payment methods.

In collaboration with Triple-A as its processing partner, the CryptoExpress app facilitates cash-outs from Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC), and Tether (USDT) funds. The app is available for free download on iOS and Android app stores.

Upon successful registration and onboarding, users of the CryptoExpress app can easily authorize transactions within their digital currency wallet. The app generates a withdrawal voucher PIN, which users can then input, along with their mobile number, at a Cash Express ATM to complete the withdrawal process.

Steven Kark, CEO of Paycorp, commented on the development, emphasizing Paycorp’s mission to improve cash accessibility. He noted that the collaboration with Triple-A, a respected leader in digital currency payments, offers a new and convenient avenue for crypto holders in South Africa to access and utilize their digital assets. Kark added, “This partnership underscores our commitment to providing innovative solutions in the evolving financial landscape.
