GITEX Launches “AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya” in Nairobi, Set for May 2026.

Global tech expo brand GITEX is expanding its footprint into East Africa with the launch of “AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya,” a major technology and innovation event scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from May 19–21, 2026.

Now in its 45th year, GITEX Global hosts technology showcases across eight countries and five regions, including UAE, Germany, Morocco, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The new Kenyan edition marks its latest strategic move into Africa’s rapidly growing digital economy.


GITEX Kenya to Become East Africa’s Largest Tech & Startup Event

Organized by KAOUN International, the official global organizer of GITEX, in collaboration with the Office of the Special Envoy on Technology of the Republic of Kenya and dx⁵ (formerly CIO Africa), AI Everything Kenya x GITEX Kenya is set to become East Africa’s largest technology and startup conference.

The three-day event will feature:

  • A one-day global summit
  • A two-day technology and startup exhibition

It will spotlight six critical themes driving Kenya’s digital transformation:

  1. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  2. Agri-tech
  3. Cloud Computing
  4. Cybersecurity
  5. Internet of Things (IoT)
  6. Sustainability & Green Tech

The event will gather government leaders, tech innovators, investors, startups, academics, creatives, and civil society organizations to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and investment.
