Co-creation Hub (CcHUB) has unveiled an exciting initiative dubbed “Let’s Build, Africa” aimed at bolstering startups with aspirations for intra-Africa expansion.
Coinciding with Africa Day, celebrated on May 25, 2024, in commemoration of the establishment of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) in 1963, CcHUB’s launch of “Let’s Build, Africa” resonates deeply with the spirit of unity and progress that defines the continent’s journey towards independence and socioeconomic empowerment. Since its inception, the OAU’s successor, the African Union, has remained steadfast in promoting continental unity and freedom from external exploitation.
As the foremost African tech ecosystem builder, with a notable presence in Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya, and Namibia, CcHUB has chosen this auspicious occasion to introduce “Let’s Build, Africa.”
“We are thrilled to unveil ‘Let’s Build, Africa’ on Africa Day, a momentous occasion symbolizing unity and advancement for our continent. Through this initiative, startups will receive the necessary tools and connections to thrive across Africa. By facilitating cross-border growth, we aim to make significant contributions to Africa’s economic integration and innovation landscape,” remarked Ojoma Ochai, Managing Director of CcHUB Africa, in a statement shared with Techmoonshot.com.
The launch of an expansion program tailored for African startups comes at a pivotal moment, as many seek opportunities beyond their borders amidst currency devaluation and challenging macroeconomic conditions in their home countries.
