Fifteen Nigerian startups have emerged as finalists in the highly anticipated second edition of the Pitch2Win competition, an esteemed platform offering a coveted prize pool of up to US$10,000 and an exclusive opportunity to journey to Japan.

Organized by Techcircle in partnership with Freakout, SGverse, and SGgrow, the second edition of Pitch2Win is scheduled for June 12. During this event, 10 promising startups will showcase their innovative ideas to a distinguished panel of judges and investors.

The selected startups will compete for a grand prize of US$10,000 in equity-free funding, along with an all-expenses-paid trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, Japan’s premier crypto conference. This conference promises invaluable networking prospects and insights into global industry trends.

Joining them are Edusko, an ed-tech startup, Eight Medical, another e-health platform, Fullgap offering business management tools, Mida Africa providing AI-powered ethical debt collection services, and Pave HQ, a digital learning platform.

Completing the lineup are Preggify, offering pregnancy care services, Regxta facilitating financial inclusion, Sendstack providing business management solutions, Sync! specializing in team management, and Trade Lenda, a credit provider.

Oo Nwoye, founder of TechCircle, highlighted the broader mission of Pitch2Win, stating, “Pitch2Win aims to not only address the funding and mentorship gaps but also empower startups whose innovative business solutions have the potential to shape the future of technology in Africa.”

It’s worth noting that Pharma Run, an e-health startup, clinched victory in last year’s inaugural edition of the competition, setting a high bar for this year’s finalists and signaling the promising future ahead for innovative startups in Nigeria and beyond.
