Senegalese logistics marketplace Logidoo has unveiled a new platform, Afridoo, which promises to revolutionize the logistics industry across West Africa.
Logidoo, founded by Tamsir Ousmane Traore in 2019, already operates across multiple African markets, including Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Morocco. Its core offering includes real-time parcel tracking, with over 3,000 logistics suppliers and 100,000 completed deliveries to date.
The company’s new platform, Afridoo, expands upon these capabilities by providing an all-in-one solution that encompasses both formal and informal sectors, aiming to streamline cross-border logistics.
Afridoo seeks to address logistical challenges by optimizing transport costs and reducing delivery times, particularly in West African countries like Senegal and beyond. This move aligns with the broader goal of enhancing trade within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), a crucial step toward boosting intra-African commerce. Logidoo’s extensive network and innovative 5PL (fifth-party logistics) framework allow the platform to cater to complex supply chains, driving efficiency and accessibility for businesses of all sizes.
As Logidoo continues its expansion with the launch of Afridoo, the platform is set to play a pivotal role in connecting key African markets and facilitating smoother, faster trade processes
