Thirteen winners have been announced at the inaugural Africa Tech Summit Awards in Nairobi, Kenya, recognizing the leading entrepreneurs and ventures shaping the tech industry across the continent.
Earlier in November, TechMoonshot reported on the launch of the Africa Tech Summit Awards, a new platform designed to celebrate the most innovative and impactful tech solutions, companies, and leaders across Africa. Now, after months of anticipation, the winners have finally been revealed.
Furthermore, the announcement took place at the annual Africa Tech Summit Nairobi, powered by Raenest, on February 12. Moreover, the awards spanned 11 sector categories and two individual ones, acknowledging outstanding contributions in various fields.

Digital Commerce Award – OmniRetail (Nigeria)
With Africa’s retail sector being highly fragmented, OmniRetail is stepping in to digitize the distribution process. By simplifying access to essential goods, the platform is creating a more efficient and connected marketplace for businesses and consumers alike.
Ed-tech Award – Ikusasa Technology Solutions (South Africa)
Recognizing the need for inclusive education, Ikusasa Technology Solutions is transforming vocational training through its SMART TVET initiative. By digitizing training programs, they are making skills development more accessible and scalable across Africa.
Enterprise Award – Smile ID (Nigeria)

FemTech Award – My Pregnancy Journey (South Africa)

Fintech Award – HUB2 (Mauritius)

Health-tech Award – Zuri Health (Kenya)
