The Tunisia-originated and now UAE-headquartered AI startup, ClusterLab, which is making waves with its innovative Arabic audiobook summarisation application named Reedz, has successfully raised a significant amount of US$600,000 in pre-seed funding. This critical investment is earmarked for bolstering the startup’s research and development initiatives, aimed at enhancing its AI and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities.

Founded in 2020 by the visionary duo, Haithem Kchaou and Chehir Dhaouadi, ClusterLab stands out in the AI landscape by offering advanced AI and NLP technologies. Their flagship application, Reedz, showcases the startup’s mastery in leveraging AI to seamlessly translate over 80 languages worldwide, making it a pioneer in its field.

ClusterLab’s journey from its roots in Tunisia to establishing its headquarters in the UAE is a testament to its global ambition and technological prowess. The startup’s recent achievement of securing US$600,000 in pre-seed funding from a group of esteemed investors, including Karim Beguir, a notable early backer of InstaDeep, alongside a cadre of regional angel investors, marks a significant milestone. This fresh influx of capital is set to fuel ClusterLab’s continued innovation and research in AI and NLP technologies, further solidifying its position in the market.
