Egypt’s MoneyHash, a leading payment orchestration platform in the Middle East and Africa, has partnered with Visa, a global leader in digital payments, to deliver secure and enhanced digital payment experiences.
Founded in 2021 by Nader Abdelrazik and Mustafa Eid, MoneyHash has developed a proprietary payment orchestration platform and end-to-end payment operating system. After a successful beta launch in 2022, attracting key regional players such as Foodics, Rain, and Tamatem, the startup launched its enterprise suite last October, targeting large enterprises.
In 2023, MoneyHash doubled its network of integrations, tripled its revenue, and increased its processing volume by 30x. It also secured large enterprise customers shortly after the October launch.
Techmoonshot reported in February that MoneyHash raised a US$4.5 million seed funding round to support its expansion. The company has now announced a partnership with Visa, which grants it access to Visa’s extensive suite of digital payment solutions and enables the provision of advanced payment technologies such as network tokenization. This partnership allows MoneyHash to leverage Visa’s global reach, capabilities, and security.
“Our collaboration with Visa marks a significant leap in our journey. It empowers our customers to enhance their payment infrastructure, ensuring secure, fast, and reliable payment experiences. This is especially crucial in today’s digital-first world, where payment security is paramount,” said Elena Panchenko, CPO of MoneyHash.
