Call for Applications: GET Accelerator Seeks Innovative Nigerian Startups.

Nigerian startups are encouraged to apply for the third edition of the Grooming Endowment Trust (GET) accelerator program, a unique initiative aimed at fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and supporting the burgeoning startup ecosystem in Nigeria.

Implemented by Kick-off Africa, the GET accelerator program is designed to build on the successes of its previous two cohorts. In those editions, 20 startups benefited from over NGN150 million (approximately US$94,000) in equity-free funding, along with a range of support resources designed to help them scale and thrive in a competitive market. These resources include mentorship, business development training, and access to a robust network of industry experts and investors.

The 2024 edition of the GET program will begin with a three-day intensive boot camp in Lagos, offering startups an opportunity to refine their business models, sharpen their pitches, and network with peers and mentors. This will be followed by a twelve-week virtual accelerator, during which participants will receive tailored support to help them overcome challenges, optimize their operations, and prepare for future growth.

The program will culminate in a demo day and mixer event, where startups will have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of investors, venture capitalists, and ecosystem partners. This event is not only an opportunity to secure additional funding but also a platform to gain valuable exposure and build relationships that could lead to future collaborations and opportunities.

Startups interested in participating in this transformative experience are encouraged to apply before the deadline on August 11. This is a chance for Nigerian entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth, gain critical insights, and become part of a vibrant community that is shaping the future of innovation in Nigeria. Applications are open and can be submitted through this link.
