Egyptian ed-tech startup EYouth, alongside a coalition of prominent local businessmen, has launched NextEra Education, an initiative that brings a substantial investment of EGP 2 billion (US$41 million) to revolutionize the educational landscape in Egypt!

Founded in 2016 and fully transitioning online in 2018, EYouth designs online training courses that empower young people to boost their careers and acquire essential skills for the job market. Now, they have joined forces with influential business figures such as Mohamed Farouk, Ahmed Tarek, Mustafa Abd Ellatif, and Mokhtar Ahmed to elevate education in Egypt.

NextEra Education aims not just for incremental change but for a radical modernization of Egypt’s education system. The initiative will integrate advanced AI technology, overhaul outdated curricula, and collaborate with top international universities to deliver world-class learning opportunities directly to Egyptian students. Ultimately, it seeks to tackle the key challenges in the current education system, ensuring students gain the skills necessary for success in a fast-evolving global economy.

“NextEra Education goes beyond building an educational institution; we are reinventing the future of education in Egypt,” stated Mustafa Abd Ellatif, CEO of both NextEra Education and EYouth. “Our significant investment, combined with AI integration and global partnerships, empowers our students not only to meet today’s job market demands but also to become the leaders of tomorrow!”

Additionally, Mohamed Farouk, CEO of Mobica and chairman of NextEra Education, emphasized their vision to create an educational ecosystem that effectively bridges the gap between traditional methods and modern economic needs. “Through these investments and our commitment to AI integration, we are setting a new benchmark for educational excellence in Egypt,” he asserted.

NextEra Education partners with prestigious institutions, including the University of Minnesota, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Nexford University. As a result, these partnerships will enable them to offer accredited programs in high-demand fields like Programming Systems, Cybersecurity, AI, Business, Data Science, and more.
