The Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards has announced its 15 winners.

Fifteen innovative startups have been recognized as winners in the fourth edition of Egypt’s Entrepreneur Awards (EEA), celebrating outstanding contributions across various sectors in the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. The 2024 edition, themed “Breaking Silos Together: Building Resilience and Embracing Opportunity,” aimed to highlight businesses that have demonstrated remarkable innovation and resilience, especially in the face of global economic challenges.

Sponsored by prominent organizations such as ievents, Tatweer Misr, EGBANK, Orange Egypt, and PepsiCo, the awards have become a prestigious platform for recognizing Egypt’s brightest entrepreneurs. The winners were unveiled at a grand ceremony held in Cairo on September 21, 2024, with startups excelling across 15 unique categories.

Among the standout recipients, Hussein Shahbender, founder of Sight, claimed the Outstanding Youth Entrepreneur Award for his leadership in the tech-driven eye care industry. In the sports sector, SR Padel took home the Sports and Wellness Award, reflecting the growing popularity of the Padel sport in Egypt.

ILLA Logistics, a rising player in logistics, won the Disruptor of Traditional Industries Award, demonstrating how tech can reshape the logistics landscape. On the creative side, 2oolameme was named the winner of the Art to Business Award, recognizing its unique approach to blending art with commercial initiatives.

In the rapidly evolving content creation space, Peace Cake bagged the Content Innovation Award for its groundbreaking digital media work, while Synapse Analytics was recognized with the Digital Solutions and Customer Experience Award for its role in leveraging AI to enhance business processes.

Sustainability also took center stage, with Mozna clinching the Environmental Sustainability Award for its commitment to green initiatives. In fashion, Pepla stood out, winning the Fashion Vanguard Award for its innovative designs.

The Fintech Excellence Award went to Menthum, highlighting the company’s significant contributions to Egypt’s growing financial technology sector. Technobit, a leader in tech exports, earned the Global Reach Achievement Award, and Raw African was named Local Hero Award winner for its efforts in promoting local craftsmanship.

The Product Design & Innovation Award went to SAL, applauding its cutting-edge product development, while Willy’s won the Quick Serve Restaurant Champion Award for its exceptional performance in the fast-casual dining industry.

Rising startup Reme-D took home the Rising Star Award, showcasing its potential for future success, and Rology and AstraZeneca were honored with the Disruptive Duo Award, celebrating their collaborative disruption in healthcare.

The awards not only celebrated these exceptional startups but also underscored the importance of innovation, resilience, and collaboration in building a sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Egypt.
