The Digital Explorers program stands as a unique initiative providing substantial career advancement opportunities for 150 ICT talents from Nigeria, Kenya, and Armenia, fostering collaboration with both local and Baltic ICT companies. In essence, it presents an unparalleled opportunity to embark on a transformative journey, offering participants the chance to accumulate several years’ worth of experience within a condensed timeframe. This immersive experience not only accelerates individual career trajectories but also contributes to the exchange of knowledge and skills between diverse ICT ecosystems, creating a robust platform for professional growth and development.
Tailored to cater to the diverse needs of technology professionals at various career stages, Digital Explorers II introduces two distinctive tracks:
- Trainee Track: This track is specifically designed for entry-level data analysts, providing them with the opportunity to engage in immersive experiences with placements available both locally and in the Baltic region. Participants in this track embark on a dynamic journey that not only hones their skills but also exposes them to the intricacies of the tech industry in different geographical contexts.
- Professional Track: Geared towards seasoned professionals, this track is tailored for experienced Front-End and Back-End developers, as well as DevOps engineers. Participants in the Professional Track leverage their expertise to delve into challenging projects, contributing to their continuous growth and expanding their skill set. With placements available in both local and Baltic ICT companies, this track serves as a bridge for experienced professionals to explore new horizons, exchange insights, and foster collaborative innovation.
In 2024, Digital Explorers stated that they are seeking experienced Front-End & Back-End developers and DevOps engineers. Additionally, they encouraged individuals with data analytics/data science skills who have recently started their careers in the field to apply and connect with a community moving in the same direction.
