Swedish Institute Global Climate Tech Innovation Program.

The Swedish Institute has launched a new international program designed to support organizations nurturing climate tech and sustainability-focused entrepreneurs across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the MENA region.

This initiative is a golden opportunity for ecosystem enablers—accelerators, incubators, innovation hubs, and entrepreneurship support organizations—to access global networks, build capacity, and strengthen their impact in the green economy.

Participating Countries

Eligible countries include:

  • Africa: Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia
  • Asia: Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam
  • Europe: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia*, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine**, Türkiye
  • MENA: Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia***

Ukrainian applicants residing abroad are eligible.
Government employees in Georgia are not eligible.
Saudi Arabian participants must cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

Who Should Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be a citizen and resident of one of the eligible countries
  • Work in an organization/business supporting entrepreneurs in climate tech or sustainability
  • Have the authority to develop international partnerships
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Be willing to collaborate, share insights, and actively participate in the full duration of the program
  • Have clear opportunities or challenges to work on related to green entrepreneurship in their local context

Organizational Eligibility

The applicant’s organization or business must:

  • Be locally owned and based in one of the program countries
  • Be currently or soon-to-be supporting entrepreneurs focused on sustainability or green transition
  • Be mission-driven toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
