The Africa Tech Summit (ATS) London has revealed the 15 tech ventures selected to showcase their innovations at its eighth edition, set for June 7th, 2024, at the London Stock Exchange.
These ventures will pitch their businesses to an esteemed group of African tech investors, corporate leaders, and industry influencers from Europe, the USA, and Africa during the ATS Investment Showcase 2024.
“We are excited to highlight these 15 ventures that are at the forefront of tech innovation in Africa,” said Lauren Adair, Director of Africa Tech Summit. “The selection process was exceptionally competitive, with over 150 high-quality applications this year. We believe these ventures will follow in the successful footsteps of past participants who secured funding and partnerships at the ATS Investment Showcase.”
The selected ventures span a variety of sectors pivotal to Africa’s growth, such as renewable energy, climate tech, finance, healthcare, agriculture, and e-commerce, among others.

- Earthbond (Nigeria): Offers a comprehensive solar solution to African businesses through carbon accounting and climate finance.
- Melanin Kapital Limited (Kenya): Uses blockchain technology to help financial institutions and investors verify business legitimacy.
- Newform Foods (South Africa): Utilizes a continent-wide R&D network to aid food producers in developing and scaling cultivated animal products affordably.
- OkHi (Nigeria): Provides an AI-powered digital addressing system that enhances business compliance and reduces fraud by verifying accurate addresses.
- OneHealth (Nigeria): Enhances healthcare access by providing digital infrastructure that connects payers, providers, and patients to quality medical solutions.
- PBR Life Sciences (Nigeria): Transforms healthcare through a data-driven platform that leverages big data and AI for better decision-making.
- Plentify (South Africa): Delivers sustainable energy solutions with AI-powered smart home products.
- Poa Internet (Kenya): Expands access to affordable residential broadband in African communities.
- Rana Energy (Nigeria): Innovates in the energy sector by offering sustainable solutions with affordable subscription models.
- Sky.Garden (Kenya): A SaaS e-commerce platform enabling African retailers to efficiently start, manage, and grow their businesses.
- So-Cool (Nigeria): Provides clean, affordable energy solutions to SMEs across Africa.
- Teraki (Ethiopia): An audio streaming platform tailored for African content creators, addressing their unique challenges and enabling sustainable revenue.
- VeendHQ (Nigeria): Addresses the low credit penetration in Africa by providing consumers and businesses with on-demand access to funds based on verifiable income.
- Wfrley (Egypt): Offers an app that supports supermarkets with promotions, inventory control, point-of-sale systems, e-commerce, and delivery services.
