Djembe Consultants has selected ten promising startups from across Africa and the Middle East to participate in the inaugural Accelerate with Djembe program. The initiative, spearheaded by pan-African and Middle Eastern communications consultancy Djembe Consultants, aims to equip these scale-ups with the communication skills essential for securing substantial investments.
By providing intensive training in messaging, branding, digital marketing, investor relations, crisis management, media relations, and partnership development, Accelerate with Djembe empowers startups to craft compelling narratives that resonate with investors. The program also offers access to a network of industry experts who will guide the selected ventures in refining their growth strategies and investment pitches.
The diverse cohort comprises ten high-potential startups spanning sectors such as education, energy, environmental services, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation. Kenya leads with three representatives: Baobab Circle, Bevis Africa, and Mzuri Organics. Nigeria and Ghana each contribute two ventures: Cabax Farms, Lustre Plastics, SolarTaxi, and Stemaide Africa. Egypt’s Saving System, UAE’s DUS Sustainability Research Centre, and Lebanon’s YY ReGen complete the group.
