Capgemini has announced the establishment of a cutting-edge AI Center of Excellence (CoE) in Egypt, aimed at accelerating the generative and agentic AI transformation journeys of clients across the globe. The hub will serve as a key component in Capgemini’s global innovation strategy, reinforcing Egypt’s role as a strategic innovation and delivery hub.
Implementation of the AI hub is set to begin in May 2025, and the center will apply Capgemini’s deep industry expertise to develop intelligent agents tailored for highly regulated industries such as energy, life sciences, and aerospace. The CoE will enable clients to explore, design, and implement next-generation technologies that transform their operations, including supply chain optimization and product innovation.
The hub will house a diverse team of architects, data scientists, product engineers, and project managers. These experts will support transformative projects spanning business operations, design, and engineering. Clients worldwide will benefit from time zone alignment, multilingual capabilities, and convenient travel access to this Global Delivery Center.
“The AI Center of Excellence in this strategic location allows us to support our clients in scaling AI within their own businesses, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation,” said Aiman Ezzat, CEO of Capgemini. “By investing in the region’s impressive talent and establishing this dedicated AI hub, we are not only fostering significant technological advancements but also creating a robust ecosystem for AI development.”
Capgemini is also investing in research and development, partnering with local academic institutions, and leveraging global technology alliances to drive large-scale AI adoption.
